Dublin Airport Guide

DUB, County Dublin, Dublin, Ireland

Dublin Airport is the busiest in Ireland and is located just over 6 miles north of the city centre.  It currently has one terminal, with a second under construction.

Car parking is available at the airport.  The short stay car park is a few metres from the terminal building, with a daily rate of €40.  It’s really only suitable for stays of a few hours, for picking up or dropping off passengers.  If you’re going away on a trip, you can use the long stay car parks which are 20 minutes from the terminal and served by a 24 hour courtesy shuttle bus.  Prices start at €7.50 per day, or cheaper if you book online.

More than 700 buses and coaches call at the airport every day.  There are services to and from Dublin and the surrounding area as well as destinations around the country.  There is no railway station at the airport, but buses link up with all the stations in the Dublin area including Heuston and Connolly.
