The Catalonia Híspalis is located in the expansion area of Seville, well connected with other places in the city, such as Torre del Oro, the Alcazar and Plaza España. The Santa Cruz quarter is an area laden with stately homes, palace-residences and patios blooming with flowers, Alcazar is a former castle that is currently used to accommodate VIP visitors to the city and, the Cathedral, built in 1401 on the site of the former mosque, are all worth visiting. The Giralda, a prime example of the Gothic and baroque styles, stands 97 metres high and was the highest tower in the world in its day. The airport is 8 kilometres away and it is possible to take the airport bus to Santa Justa railway station which is only 2 kilometres from the hotel. The city centre is 5 kilometres from the hotel.
