Exeter International Airport is located in Devon and offers scheduled and charter flights around the UK, Europe and Canada. Most of the flights are operated by Flybe, a budget airline based in Exeter.
A local bus service runs to Exeter and Exmouth, but only between about 7 am and 6 pm. There are rail services to London from Exeter Central and Exeter St Davids Stations; these are about 5 miles away. London trains also run to Tiverton Parkway, 12 miles from the airport. Local trains run from Digby & Sowton Station, about 2 and a half miles away.
For those arriving by car, there are a number of parking options at the airport.
Car Park 1 is for picking up and dropping off passengers. It is also the Executive Gold Rate car park. It is 50 yards from the terminal building, opposite Departures. The first 15 minutes are free and after that a small charge applies, increasing up to 6 hours. After 6 hours, a very expensive day rate applies. Car Park 2 is the Executive Premium Rate facility. It is much cheaper than the day rate in Car Park 1. Car Park 2 is 75 yards from the Terminal, on the approach road.
Car Park 3 is a Standard Rate facility. It is 200 yards from the Terminal and is served by a shuttle bus. Car Park 4 is also Standard Rate and costs the same. It is ΒΌ of a mile from the Terminal and is also served by a shuttle bus.
The airport facilities have been given the Park Mark Award for Safer Parking. You can save up to 30% on any of the car parks by booking in advance online. Prices are in the mid-range for official airport car parks.
There are several off site car parks near Exeter Airport. Most offer a park and ride service, where you drop your car at their facility and make use of the courtesy transport to the airport. A couple offer a meet and greet service, where your car is collected on the terminal forecourt by a driver, and brought back there for you in time for your return.
