The George and Dragon is a 16th Century Grade ii listed coaching house situated just 2 minutes from Bristol International Airport. It was originally built as a cross passage house circa 1575. Around 1625 the house was developed into a coaching house and was a main stopping point for travellers going to and from the south of England. Being just 2 minutes from Bristol International Airport and serving a full menu throughout the day, the George and Dragon is ideally situated for the departing or arriving traveller. We are also only 20 minutes from Bristol and 35 minutes from Bath. Wi-Fi is available at no cost throughout. Under cover parking is available. All our rooms are non-smoking and furnished in a simple elegant style, ideally situated for both the discerning business and leisure traveller, looking for that something extra.
